The Welcome Project seeks volunteer teachers to teach or assist with an ESOL class. Our 10-hour teacher training program combined with ongoing support prepares both novice and experienced teachers for success within our program. After the initial training, volunteers teach or tutor English language learners 2 or 4 hours a week plus preparation time and monthly meetings.
We are currently accepting applications for volunteers to teach morning or evening classes, as well as tutors who are interested in working with individual learners. We also have opportunities with our youth interpretation training program, and our College and Career Readiness program. Please fill out the form about why you would be interested in volunteering!
